O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

Testimonies of God’s greatness are important. These true stories from real people who have experienced the valley’s and the mountain tops, offer us a unique reminder of God’s grace, mercy, healing and provision.

Sitting here, watching my husband sleep, doing verses for S.O.U.L., and looking at all that God has given us these past five years. He has given me reconciliation in my family life, a fantastic church home and friends. It brings tears to my eyes when I remember the old me and see how good God has been once I let him in!! Far from perfect, but that’s not what he’s looking for. He wants me to have faith in him, honor him, love him, testify to his goodness, mercy and grace. He wants me to be a child of God. God is good!! The sofa and bed came today!!! My back is shouting YES!! YES!! YES!! Thanks Pat Robinson!! I shared verses with the delivery people!!

What a perfect ending to an awesome week of celebrating Christmas in the true sense of the Reason for the Season…we went to the SOUL (Servants of Our Lord) church service downtown Dallas this morning. SOUL is a ministry for the homeless pastored by my brother-in-law Leon Birdd and his wife Jennifer Birdd. It is truly a humbling experience to see these homeless people carrying their life’s possessions around in one or two sacks…these people that sleep on cold or hot concrete under a bridge…no pillows, no showers before bed…no nothing but whats in their sacks….but yet they come by the hundreds every Sunday Morning to worship, to hear about the love of Jesus and to be fed…spiritually and physically. Lord forgive me for thinking about not going…I had several excuses…too cold…it might rain….too early…I’m so thankful I didnt give in to those excuses…so blessed that our sweet girl Leah and her three teenagers gave up their warm beds and sleeping in this morning and went with us…we all helped serve the physical food after service and it was an awesome experience:) God is Good All the Time!  ‪#‎nevertakewhatyouhaveforgranted‬
