A church on its knees

S.O.U.L. Church is a homeless ministry where people can meet Jesus and engage in a life-giving community. For over 30 years, Pastor Leon and his team have been serving the homeless and vulnerable on the streets of Dallas since 1995.
On Sundays, S.O.U.L is a church without walls, feeding the mind, body, and spirit of 200+ people each week. It's a home church to many homeless, it’s a community.
Throughout the weekdays, the work continues as S.O.U.L. collects, prepares, and distributes food, shoes, and clothing to our many partner organizations and underserved communities across the area. With only three salaried employees and a few contract workers, we are sustained by our committed and compassionate volunteers and by the generous support of donors committed to serving those in need.

SUNDAYS
S.O.U.L.’s mobile Church operates every Sunday, rain or shine, in an open field near Fair Park for praise and worship and community. It is a dedicated time to love and serve our homeless, building a community through prayer, a hot meal, clothing, hygiene packs, free haircuts, showers, and laundry services. We bring the field to life with a full set-up with coffee, breakfast, music, sermon, a hot meal, and ice cream! We come ready with our trucks carrying hot food, generators, refrigeration units, warming ovens, a sound stage, tables, chairs, tents, clothing, and even I John & II John, the porta-potties.
We believe chains can be broken and hearts changed through mentoring, discipleship, and intentional relationships.

WEEKDAYS @ S.O.U.L.
During seven days a week, God's business of gathering food, clothing, shoes, and resources for the homeless and people in need is happening. We use our refrigerated trucks to pick up and drop off food for the community. We use our kitchen to cook and prepare the food served during Sunday services. S.O.U.L.’s fleet of trucks also supports more than 40 + community organizations across thirteen counties by providing critical supplies and support.
We are committed to helping the hurt and the lost through the love of Jesus Christ.
