More about S.O.U.L. Church

Who we are...

Servants Of oUr Lord - S.O.U.L. Church Dallas is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit.
We have no roof
We have no walls
But under His Wings
We have refuge

We are a mobile church and can be found on Sunday, rain, or shine, gathering for worship and church services with our homeless family reaching out to a lost world with the Good News about Jesus.  We are a church of the haves and have-nots.

What we do...

We build relationships with those in need.
We express compassion and mercy tangibly by helping others.
In following Christ's example to love others, we seek to make a difference in our community by being the hands and feet of Jesus while sharing the message of Christ.

What's different...

We meet our people right where they are...on the streets of Dallas.
We are bridging the gap between our expectations and where they come from.
We intentionally listen to understand their values, needs, desires, pain, and traumatic experiences.

Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about.
 Be kind.

Always.

Sunday

Every Sunday, S.O.U.L. Church joins in an open field for a safe place of praise and worship and a time to love our homeless community through prayer, food, clothes, hygiene packs, and free haircuts.  We average over nine-hundred guests per month. Our assignment is simple, to reach people in need regardless of their circumstances.  We are committed to helping the hurt and the lost through the love of Jesus Christ.  We believe chains can be broken, and hearts changed through mentoring, discipleship, and intentional relationships. Our resolve is to feed the mind, body, and spirit of the community that we serve. We are sustained by our committed and compassionate volunteers and by the generous contributions of donors.

More than Sunday

S.O.U.L. is more than just a church on Sunday:

  • It's seven days a week doing God's business of gathering food, clothing, and resources for people in need.
  • Kings Closet: We collect and distribute gently used clothing items to our homeless community at church on Sunday.
  • Soles for S.O.U.L.: We collect new shoes for men and women in all sizes, including work boots with and without steel toes and non-slip sneakers.
  • Transportation: S.O.U.L. provides DART Day passes to those needing transportation for job interviews, urgent medical needs, and a way to get to church.
