A Season of Gratitude, Light, and Hope
Hey S.O.U.L. Church family! We’re so glad you’re here and part of this community. Whether you’ve been with us for years or just joined us recently, we’re thankful for you and all that God is doing.
As we enter this New Year and through the special Christmas season, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for you!
This past year has been marked by countless testimonies of lives forever changed because of God’s grace moving through your faithfulness, prayer, and love. Because of the willingness to serve and love people well, lives have been touched and souls have been saved. We praise God for the beautiful work He has done in and through our church community in 2025.

Thank You for Volunteering!
To every volunteer who said “yes” this year, thank you.
Your compassion has made room for the presence of God. Your willing heart has created a safe place for people to encounter Jesus. Your love has reflected the heart of Christ to a world in great need. We truly could not do this without you. Thank you!
During 2025 we had on average 315 volunteers per month, serving an average of 550 hot meals per week on Sunday mornings. This is amazing!

The Christmas Party was a Blast!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Christmas party! It was such a joy to gather together and see so many familiar faces, laughing, connecting, and celebrating the reason for the season, Christ. The warmth by the fire, the smiles, and the sense of community truly felt like the heart of S.O.U.L. Church. Moments like these remind us that church is more than a service or even an outreach—it’s a family. We’re grateful you took the time to be with us and helped make the party so fun and memorable.

Looking Ahead in Faith
As we prepare for a new year, we are filled with expectation. God is calling us forward to make disciples, make an impact and stay faithful to meeting the needs of the hurting — one soul at a time.
We want to encourage you to begin praying now about how you can be more involved with the lives of individuals we serve together in 2026. When we each do our part, the Kingdom moves forward and Heaven meets Earth.
It is by simple obedience that we see great impact in the lives of those we serve as well as our own.
As we have prayed about what God may be asking of us this coming year, we sense the calling to go deeper into true discipleship. We are committed to strengthening both current and new relationships, not just gathering together for church, but truly walking together. It’s one thing to see someone most Sundays, it’s something entirely different to know them and to be known by them. If we are serious about following Jesus, we must be intentional about prioritizing discipleship.
So what does that even mean? It means to check in on the wellbeing of someone, spend time together, grab coffee or a bite, have Bible study, pick up the phone and call and it means to pray for that person and watch your prayers become answered over time.
“Make friends and while making friends, make disciples.” Bobby once said about Hannah and his work on the native reservations.
Join us in this journey and take the relationships you are building downtown deeper this coming year. We know the Lord will bless your efforts and work!
A word from Pastor Leon about discipleship, “Dive into Discipleship this year! It’s not for the faint at heart. Come as a child. Become the Godly man you were created to be.”
